Old Navy Uses Poor Grammar

Old Navy has a new line of college and NFL team tees called "Superfan Nation" with a variety of products reading "Let's Go" for dozens of college teams.  The writing on the t-shirts omit the apostrophe in "Let's", so instead it reads "Lets Go".

Anybody that knows me, knows that I am a stickler when it comes to spelling and grammar.  So, to see this grammatical error printed on t-shirts by a large company like Old Navy just hurts me to my heart.  And even though the error has been pointed out, the t-shirts are still on sale on Old Navy's website.  You can go here to see for yourself.

Before the t-shirts launched, schools had been hopeful that they would be a good way to promote their brand to those who may not be hardcore fans.  Emails to Old Navy's parent company, Gap, were not immediately returned.  With that being said, it looks like the t-shirts are here to stay, at least for now.

What's sad about this, is that a lot of people probably wouldn't have even noticed the poor grammar had it not been pointed out.  What's even sadder is that a lot of people probably don't even care that it's written incorrectly and will still buy the t-shirts.
